Patch 7.16, Valve Bawa Perubahan Besar

Seperti yang sudah dijanjikan Valve, bahwa mereka akan memberikan patch baru setiap 2 minggu dan diusahakan untuk tidak mengganggu jalannya sebuah event. Dengan hal itu, memang terlihat bahwa DOTA 2 menjadi game yang lebih dinamis dan lebih seru untuk dimainkan.

Pada patch 7.16 kali ini, Valve benar-benar melakukan perubahan besar untuk beberapa hero yang memang sedang ramai digunakan di pertandingan kompatitif maupun tidak. Hero seperti IO, Night Stalker, Leshrac, Dragon Knight dan juga Death Prophet terkena imbasnya dengan mengalami beberapa penurunan dari berbagai yang diharapkan dapat menstabilkan hero tersebut yang dinilai overpowered.

Tak sampai disitu, tapi Valve juga melakukan ‘buff’ kepada beberapa hero yang memang cukup jarang masuk kedalam pertandingan kompatitif seperti Zeus, Ogre Magi dan juga Huskarr. Dengan harapan bahwa akan hadir lebih banyak hero yang akan muncul di pertandingan kompatitif dan menambah keseruan dari sebuah event.

Apalagi, tak lama lagi akan hadir China Super Major yang merupakan salah satu event yang paling menentukan berbagai tim yang berkompetisi disana. Karena seperti yang kalian tahun, akan ada 2250 DOTA 2 Pro Circuit yang bisa diperebutkan disana. Dimana tim manapun yang bahkan belum masuk klasemen bisa mendapatkan undangan menuju The International 8 jika dapat finish di posisi kedua atau pertama.

Beberapa perubahan umum yang dihadirkan Valve di patch 7.16 kali ini ialah Sentry Ward yang berdurasi 6 menit dari sebelumnya yang hanya 4 menit. Serta pertambahan jumlah gold dari Bounty Rune yang dikurangi dari 3 per menit, menjadi 2 per menit. Terakhir adalah base regen HP dari beberapa hero dengan base Agility difiksasi menjadi 1.75 HP Regen per detik.

The upcoming patches will be mostly focused on balance tweaks in preparation for The International. There are a few more biweekly patches planned, with the primary ones scheduled around the final Major and the TI Qualifiers. After TI, we expect the first half of the new season to have longer periods between gameplay updates.
